Be a Friend

Why are there clicks?

I have struggled with this a lot.  Am I not good enough to fit in with "that" group?  What is wrong with me?  What makes "them" so great?

For those of you having asked the same thing, instead of feeling sorry for yourself, you could learn from this.  Be the friend that includes everyone.  Be the person God has called you to be.  YOU be the person that sees the loner and the person that is standing on the outside. Sometimes, I believe God allows us to go through trials for us to learn from them and use that hard time to reach out to others and witness to them.

Trust me...I totally understand how you might not understand why you are going through this now....but God does have a perfect plan. Trust HIM.  Good will come out whether we see it now or not.

Instead of thinking, WWJD (What Would Jesus Do),  because we are definitely not Jesus,  try thinking, "What Would Jesus have me do?".   Would He have you stay in your comfort zone with your "group"? May I just be blunt? ...I highly doubt Jesus was comfortable  on the cross; yet He did it as a sacrifice for us.  Why is it we can not do a simple thing and just "Do to others as we would have them do" when Jesus sacrificed so much more for us?

I do not believe Jesus had a "group".  Yes, He had His inner circle of friends, but not to the point of excluding others...or should I say He didn't turn away the "sinners".   So who are we to decide who is worthy of our time and friendship?

Why don't we be the ones to step up and be a friend to those who need one.  Look around you.  Lonely people are everywhere...even in the church.

Let the Son's Light shine through you! :)
